After checking into the Sunna Guesthouse, we had most of the day remaining to sightsee in Reykjavik. We walked in a loop around the city, it was a nice day - this was a harbinger of the weather we would enjoy the rest of the trip. We had fantastic weather for our entire visit.
We looked inside the landmark cathedral, then took a clockwise stroll through the center of Reykjavik, stopping at various parks. We also visited the Bonus market to stock up on some last minute food supplies that we would need on our trek.
For dinner, we got a large pizza to go from Reykjavik Pizzeria. We went to bed early, because had to get up and catch the 7 AM bus to Landmannalaugar.
