Yellowstone is a terrific place. Melanie and I enjoyed 5 days there at the end of summer
in 2004, and then spent another 2 days in the Grand Tetons. Rather than give you a day by day
description of what we saw, I decided to present our journey as a set of photos and text from each of our main
stops in the Parks. The map will help you visualize where we saw these scenes. Yellowstone is a huge park, and despite
our five days of efficient sightseeing during good weather and few crowds, we still missed a few sites, such as Mt
Washburn, Fairy Falls, the Lamar Valley, and canoeing. We did see quite a bit, I was especially delighted that we were fortunate enough to witness
the eruption of the major geysers. I hope your have a chance to visit these parks for yourself and have a wonderful time
too. If you would like to share stories of your adventures there, just contact me. Thanks!
