Dunluce Castle, Antrim Coast, Glenariff, Legananny - June 8th, 2012
Perhaps our most disappointing day in Ireland. The original plan had us leaving Portrush early in the morning, and driving straight down to Newcastle, where we would enjoy an
afternoon of hiking in the famously scenic Mourne Mountains. But the pouring down rain change those plans. We decided to drive along the Antrim Coast, but first we stopped at
Dunluce Castle. We didn't visit Dunluce the day before because it was raining then too!
The Antrim Coast is scenic and green, much like the coasts all around the island. There isn't too much to see in Northern Ireland other than the Giant's Causeway, which is indeed
a cool thing to see. It seems like there is a lot more to visit in the south and western parts of the island.
